Donghoon Shin, MD/Ph.D., is the founder and CEO of Heuron and associate professor at Gachon University Gil Medical Center. He earned his M.D. and Ph.D. from Ajou University College of Medicine. He has focused on developing AI diagnostic solutions for clinical decision support systems (CDSS), and his experience and expertise in Neurology has enabled him to connect with field experts for the purpose of improving conven+tional medical and healthcare services. ​

His recent research topic was in Automated assessment of the substantia nigra on susceptibility map-weighted imaging using deep convolutional neural networks for diagnosis of Idiopathic Parkinson’s disease, which has been published in Parkinsonism and Related Disorders (VOLUME 85, P84-90, APRIL 01, 2021).

As the CEO of Heuron Co., Ltd., he is in charge of management and business development. He presents a vision for Heuron to grow into a leading global bio-health care company, and is establishing and pursuing management strategies for this. He majored in Chinese Literature / Business Administration at Sogang University, and has a Korean Certified Public Accountant (KICPA) qualification. He carried out audits, M&A, and Valuation of large domestic and foreign companies at Samil PWC's Audit Div / Deal Div, and at Smilegate Investments, executed domestic and foreign bio investments as a team leader (investment reviewer) and key management personnel of biofunds. He is contributing to the growth of Heuron Co., Ltd. by achieving the milestones that investors want in a timely manner based on his experience, capabilities and network as a professional investor. He aims to make Heuron become a company that people want to invest in and join, and a company that makes products people want to use

Heuron’s VP. He graduated from Yonsei University College of Law and obtained a master's degree in business administration. His major careers include Yuhan Corporation, AstraZeneca Marketing Executive, Hanmi Pharmaceutical Marketing Director, Vice President of Ajou Pharmaceutical Sales/Marketing Div and New Business Medical Div. With extensive experience and human network in the field of Sales/Marketing Planning & practice, and licensing and pricing related policies of pharmaceutical and Medical Device Business, he is carrying out the business development work of Heuron Co., Ltd. 

He is in charge of Heuron's research organization. He is researching to understand various nervous system diseases and to contribute to the promotion of medical technology by converging innovative technologies. He is carrying out tasks with competent personnel across the entire range of disease research, artificial intelligence technology, commercialization, clinical trials, and licensing. He studied the engineering analysis of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases at Hanyang University and obtained a Ph.D. in bio-medical engineering. While familiarizing himself with medical device industry, working as a research professor at Medical Device Convergence Center of Gachon Gil Medical Center, he prepared the foundation for Heuron technology by studying brain-nervous system diseases together with Prof Donghoon Shin. 

He is in charge of management planning and financial affairs at Heuron. He majored in business administration at Hanyang University and obtained CPA while attending school. Through part-time work at Jaejeong Accounting Corp and working at the audit div of Samil PwC, he has performed audit work for a number of large corporations, large enterprises, companies subject to audit designation, foreign affiliates and listed companies, and has performed a number of advisory works relating to general accounting, split/merger and internal accounting. Based on such knowhow, he is contributing to Heuron's smooth capital procurement and financial soundness.

He is in charge of the Director of Heuron‘s Science & Marketing & BD Department.
He obtained a Ph.D. in Bio-Medical Science from Korea University, and has been involved in protocol research and development and marketing in the MRI field for over 15 years. He has also performed a number of research tasks and business development related to diagnostic imaging analysis program. Based on this experience, it has given scientific value for the useful Heuron’s product, and as a Clinical Scientist for collaboration with customers in clinical practice.

As a head of Strategic Planning Division, Joon mo Kim is in charge of supporting Heuron’s management decision making directly. He is contributing to Heuron’s leap forward as a global leader by presenting future vision/strategy and establishing a detailed promotion plan for it.
He completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in technical business at Sogang University, and doctoral course in international management at Hanyang University.He was a head of investment strategy team at KITIA(Korea Core Industrial Technology Investment Association) under MOTIE(Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy) and performed various tasks such as overseas M&A deal sourcing and brokerage, negotiation support, new technology FDI support, improvement of financial investment system, VC investment link, and investment review.

As the head of the development division of Heuron, he is in charge of the (Web) Application. He obtained a master's degree in mobile business at Kookmin University, was involved in development/management work for more than 20 years, and lecturerd as an adjunct professor at universities for 10 years. He has also worked in various fields such as BackEnd, FrontEnd, FullStack, and strategic planning at Kakao subsidiaries and conglomerates, and is an expert who has experience in consulting and organization management for the development work of various venture companies. Based on such experience and know-how, he is responsible for Heuron's IT field development work.

Director Kwon, who is in charge of the intellectual property rights management of Heuron Co., Ltd., graduated from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Korea University, and obtained a patent attorney license through the 46th patent attorney exam. He started work in the Communication Standards Team of KBK & Associates, served as a team leader at Son Kim International Patent & Law Firm (now IPUS Patent & Law Firm) and currently is serving as the representative patent attorney of IPUS Patent & Law Firm. He gave lectures in various fields on strategies for using patents and IP at KIPO, Intellectual Property Trial and Appeal Board, International Intellectual Property Training Institute, KIPA, RIPC, Universities, research institutes, and Hanbit Patent Attorneys Institute. Through his long experience and know-how in applications, trials, litigation, patent technology analysis, valuation, and technology transfer business, he is responsible for all procedures from application through to registration for Heuron's products.

Robert A. Freeman is a noted healthcare economist and public policy leader, academician, and expert in the global pharmaceutical industry. He was previously vice chairman for research and professor of social & administrative science in the Department of Pharmacy Practice & Administration at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore School of Pharmacy. He has over 20 years’ experience in the global pharmaceutical industry having served as a leader of public policy and health economics functions for AstraZeneca and Sanofi, among others.  He has also held faculty and administrative positions at Texas A&M University College of Pharmacy, The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy, and The University of Iowa College of Pharmacy, He is the author of over 85 research and professional publications in the areas of health technology assessment, pharmaceutical public policy, health economics, and science and trade policy. His current research focuses on policy initiatives to incentivize pharmaceutical R&D. He earned his BS in Pharmacy and his MS and PhD degrees from the University of Mississippi.

Professor Kyeong (Kay) Lee received her B.S. from College of Pharmacy, Ewha Womans University (1993), and M.S. from College of Pharmacy, Seoul National University (1995). Then she obtained PhD from the College of Pharmacy, University of Georgia, in 2000 and did her postdoctoral fellowship at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in the USA (2000-2004). After joining as a senior research scientist in the area of medicinal chemistry and drug discovery at the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience & Biotechnology (KRIBB), Korea, she promoted to Principal Investigator in 2009 (2004-2009). She was appointed as associate professor at the College of Pharmacy, Dongguk University, Korea, thereafter and promoted to full professor in 2014. She licensed out several technologies on preclinical candidates in the area of anticancer therapeutics and antivirals etc., and has continued to focus on drug discovery and chemical biology as director of OTRCID and IMRCTR supported by National Research Foundation, Korea.

He has more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare market and is also a living proof of Korean medical devices development.
He worked as a sales and marketing representative for JW medical and was a head of marketing at Samsung Madison, a global leading medical device company.
He is also the first generation to introduce PACS in Korea as the vice president of Infinitt Healthcare.
He graduated from Korea University’s Graduate School of Computer information and Communication.
